They will steal your money
2.0Do not book any properties owned by these people which is many. We rented a room with Great Lakes inn. Upon arrival we were told to go to hotel next door called the Thunderbird inn. So we go over there where they place us in a room completely full of mold on every single wall and the ceiling. We tell front desk where they say "of you dont like the mold on the wall then we can show you a different room." We allow them to show us a different room. Upon inspection it looks ok. We turn down the sheets and there are bodily fluids all over it. We tell them we want a refund and provide photos we are told there is no refunds. Ha!! What a joke!! Look up the Leigho family in Mackinaw city and you will see they were investigated by the AG office for unethical business practices. Well they took our money and we had to find a different hotel.

4.0You know the saying, "you get what you pay for" and it holds true in this situation. It is off season, so I wasn't looking to spend much on a room to visit the casino in Mack City. The location is great if you are heading to the casino or downtown. The rooms are nothing to be desired, but appeared clean. The microwave was a dial microwave and the tv was smaller than my work monitor, but it was fine for what we needed it for. I actually slept really well in the room, even with the musty smell. I checked both beds for bed bugs and didnt see anything at all. The carpet needs torn out and vinyl or tile laid, but doubt that will happen. The pools are in VERY poor shape, dont even bring your suit. lol. Upon check in, I had to walk to the next door motel to check in as there was no one at the desk with a note on the door that said check in next door. weird.

2.0Stay away ! This property has BUGS ! We went to the office for a full refund and wanted to stay at a different motel far far away from this place. They would not issue a refund, but simply offered us another nights stay at another motel they also managed. After inspecting the other room, we found it to be satisfactory but sadly at 1 AM. Someone tried to open our motel door. Thank the good Lord we had the security lock on.

2.0Left over food in fridge. Sink is dirty and bugs in it. Floor not vacuumed. Off putting smell in room. The room is nothing like the pictures showed. Had to go to hotel next door to check in. Probably one of the worst places I gave stayed.
