Staff was excellent.
8.0Our train got cancelled and had to stay in this hotel as an emergency accommodation. Receptionist was excellent, he offered us a free breakfast. Hotel service was better than the OBB train service in Venice.
− We had to carry our heavy suitcase ourselves with 22 steps before entering the hotel as they had porter service only before 9pm.

Great location, some QoC improvements possible
7.0It is located close to the train station and the Palazzo Ducale is 30 minutes footwalk away. The bathroom was clean and modern. Most importantly, it offered warm water from the shower. In addition, the room had configurable AC. There was sufficient space for everything.
− There were only two power sockets usable, the WiFi existed but wasn’t stable enough to stream live TV and you could only load devices while you were in the room. This was because the room card needs to be inserted for the sockets to be active. The light in the bathroom is activated by motion sensor and dependent on time of day. If you go to the bed you should close the door to the bathroom to minimize the risk of triggering it and then having to wait on the bed until the light goes off after a few minutes.
In the event of early departure, the hotel will charge the entire amount of the booked stay.
The elevator runs from the first floor upwards. Gluten-free menus are available in the restaurant upon request.
