Diminished from past visits
6.0The check in was quick pleasant and efficient. I went to the room and was initially pleased. The new configuration made the center of the living room just wide open. Wanted to eat dinner there and the kitchen while well set up with a full kitchen had very limited glassware and eating dishes. Asked for a couple of dishes I could put fruit in and was offered a couple of paper plates. This morning the breakfast bar had no fresh egg dishes and only prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, The cups for juice were paper coffee cups. The Inn while renovated needs a very hard look at is hospitality.
Very nice good location
8.0Great suite
− Construction
Not exactly the quality i was expecting for what i paid
4.0I loved how central the location was.
− The pull out couch bed was heavily stained and missing a fitted sheet. I asked the front reception for one and they delivered more flat sheets. The picture of the room showed a lovely corner tub, the room i had had a basic tub so the kids and i were disappointed.

8.0Overall, it was great! Loved fire pit area and the pet friendly atmosphere. The women at the front desk I think her name was Melissa she was so kind and nice. All the staff were including the maintenance guys!!!
− Pool and hot tub room were so full of chlorine that you could taste it in air, and it made my eyes irritated. I never even went in the water it was just being in there that was tough.
Stay well away, at least until the renovations are done
4.0We had stayed here a few times, as late as 2 years ago, and it was just fine. Not anymore. First they don't warn you when you book that the whole hotel is under renovations. The entire 3rd and 4th floors are closed. Worse, the renovations are 7AM - 3:30PM. What kind of schedule is that to have renovations in an active hotel? Even worse, when we got here at 7PM the back door latch had been taped open by the workers, who had long since gone home. This is a serious security problem; anyone at all could have walked in at any hour. (I removed the tape myself.) The nice but passive staff didn't realize the seriousness of that, and also had no clue where the renovations were the next day so didn't know where to put us to avoid the noise. Also when we arrived they told us they were turning off the water to the whole hotel at 11AM the next morning. Glad they're renovating; Lord knows this place needs it. In our room all the chairs and tables were banged up and/or stained, you couldn't turn the TV off except by unplugging it, and even the security latch was on its last legs. Worse, the very heavy fake-granite kitchen tabletop was very wobbly; I had to tell my daughter not to push on it for fear it would fall. Also the housekeeping was marginal; the microwave handle was gross, many of the utensils and dishes weren't clean, and there was maybe 1/8 roll of toilet paper left on one of the toilets, with no spare roll easily accessible. And the free breakfast was plastic-wrapped breakfast sandwiches stored in a steam tray, so that the plastic was dripping wet. Also the pull-out beds have maybe the worst mattresses I've ever slept on; the metal springs dig into you enough to hurt. What happened to these guys?
Clean, clean, clean , comfortable beds, quiet, lovely staff, plenty of pillows and towels -great breakfast
10.0Writing review so you have current information : The hotel is having a renovation , however, with the exception of the front desk moved to another building you would not know workers were on site. This is a very clean, quite , hotel with a lovely breakfast and a 4 min drive to the main town. It is near shops and the staff that works here are all very helpful and kind . The beds have plenty of nice pillows, are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked, plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the fireplace adds warmth to the room . The breakfast is also very good , waffle station, oatmeal station and many other choices . Yes I would recommend and yes I would stay again . The two bedroom suites were perfect for our family
