Lovely, we were very spoilt by the fantastic views absolutely everywhere.

The accommodation was perfectly positioned looking out on the lake, a beautiful view. We found everyone so friendly and helpful and also very informative by sharing the details of the visiting bear on 2 of the nights we were there! There were a few local places to visit for evening meals only a short walk away. The post office staff up the road were also very helpful and patient with us when we went in to post a parcel back to the UK. The people here all seem very relaxed and unhurried, we Brits could learn a thing from them. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

We loved the property. Having the paddle boards, kayaks and water bikes were a special treat. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

− We had some issues with the internet not working. But they were genuinely concerned and eager to get it resolved. We are sad to hear the family sold this property. We loved the family feeling and hope the new owners will not turn this into another gigantic overpriced dull conglomeration. There are enough of those already.

Will be back every year

The location is great, close to town and Safeway. The resort is right on the water and you a have a view from every room. There are toys you can use with life jackets if you want. They hire a musician to come some nights as the sun is setting. Everyone that works there is very nice and willing to help. I love everything about this resort.

Nice potential, but disappointing - especially the bed.

The design of the window afforded an excellent view of the lake. I liked the full kitchen and all the equipment provided for cooking and eating. The bathroom was good, and the lighting near the ceiling was nice. The room was a good size.

− The bed was squeaky and too firm. I think it had a slight sag. The heater didn’t work, it wouldn’t turn on. There was no phone in the room, so I couldn’t call the desk. I tried using the text system the management uses, and there was quite a delay before they got back to me. After sending someone to look at the heater, they were unable to fix it due to not having the part they needed for repair. There was a small heater in the room that took awhile to warm the room up, but we used it. The first night we had left all heat off and kept the sliding door open so we could hear the waves on the lake. But since the heater didn’t work that following morning, we had to stop doing that.
