10.0My wife and I stayed at the Portrait Roma for two nights after a cruise. I give the highest recommendation to Portrait and their team of professionals. From the first contact until saying goodbye, every single experience was first class. Thank you to the team- Ecem, Florentina, Sara, Phillip, and the rest! You really made our stay very special. The hotel is so well designed and immaculately clean. Their service anticipated and addressed every need, with confident expertise. We had a special request to ship a large box internationally. They handled it with immediate efficiency. A wonderful and elegant touch was the evening tea service that was waiting for us after we returned from dinner. The hotel is located above the Ferragamo shop near the Spanish steps, putting you smack in the middle of the finest shopping in Rome, and within easy reach of the top historical sites. It was perfect. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay and hope to visit you again soon!!! Arrivederci!

10.0When in Rome, there are two things you simply must do. First, find the right place to stay. Rome offers no shortage of beautiful hotels and then there is Portrait Roma. It is not only the finest address in the city, but one of the finest anywhere in the world. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If you have ever longed for the kind of service that has all but vanished from the industry, this Ferragamo property will restore your faith in it. I’ve returned more than once to be certain, and having stayed at many of the world’s great hotels, I can say without hesitation that Portrait Roma stands at the very top. Second, and no less essential, rent a Vespa. To truly know Rome, you must venture beyond the old walls, where the history, the charm, and the romance of the city stretch on for miles. And there is no better way to chase an adventure than astride that most enduring of Roman classics: the Vespa.
