I have stayed in many hotels over the years, but this one was truly exceptional in every single way. Everything was absolutely top notch the service was amazing, and the cleanliness was immaculate throughout our entire stay. You can tell they pay attention to every detail, as the rooms and facilities were spotless and maintained to the highest standard A special highlight was how they handled a stressful situation for us: our luggage was lost at the airport, but the hotel team immediately stepped in and provided us with absolutely all the essential items we needed. I would especially like to commend Larisa from the front desk she was incredibly kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything was truly perfect, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. See you next year!❤️

− I really didn't want to lower my rating because the hotel truly met all of my expectations in every way. However, one big downside for us was the mandatory €300 deposit required upon arrival. It's just something to keep in mind, but other than that, our stay was wonderful.

− Dear La Clef Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with our experience during our stay, particularly regarding the service we received on our checkout day, 11 October 2026, and the housekeeping standards throughout our stay. We extended our stay and eventually checked out on 11 October. Unfortunately, the staff on duty between approximately 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. were neither welcoming nor helpful. We had assumed that, as an international hotel catering to guests from different parts of the world, there would be a reasonable level of flexibility and assistance, particularly in situations involving international travellers. Our outstanding bill was €1,475.20, while we had €1,305.00 available in euros. As we primarily use US dollars, we assumed we might be able to settle the remaining balance in USD. We were willing to accept whatever exchange rate the hotel applied that day and were simply looking for a practical solution. However, the staff refused to assist us or offer any alternative, despite our explaining that we were running late for our flight. We understand that hotels may have payment policies and procedures in place. However, the complete lack of assistance or willingness to explore possible solutions was extremely disappointing and, in our view, unprofessional. As tourists visiting Paris for the first time, we were unfamiliar with the hotel’s specific procedures and expected a more understanding and helpful approach from the staff. Furthermore, the housekeeping standards throughout our stay were below what we would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Our room was consistently not cleaned properly. Upon our initial check-in, we even found someone else’s sock underneath the bed, which immediately raised concerns about the thoroughness of the cleaning. During the remainder of our stay, although housekeeping staff attended to the room, their efforts appeared largely limited to making the bed, while the bathroom floor was barely cleaned.
