Staff was welcoming and very professional. Bedding was good and clean. The room was very clean as well. Overall the hotel was very good.

− Given the hotel's four-star rating, a few things could definitely be improved or clarified. First, the breakfast was acceptable but lacked the fresh, high-quality products you would expect at this level - freshly squeezed orange juice, for instance, was notably missing. Second, the location is a seafront, not an actual beach. This nuance is incredibly important; our kids were quite disappointed after we told them the hotel was right on the beach. Finally, it took us a while to figure out the air conditioning controls. As other guests have pointed out in their comments, the unit is positioned to blow cold air directly onto the bed, which is highly disagreeable and makes it difficult to sleep comfortably.

Staff sempre gentile e sorridente. Camera pulita ed ordinata a due passi dal centro. Posizione perfetta per chi cerca relax. Colazione ottima.

At best a 3 star hotel. Mediocre outdated accommodation in need of massive investment. Nice staff.

Staff were very attentive and engaging

− The pictures of the hotel showed an updated modern room that was not what we were given - this is misleading. The ratings and commentary were very misleading, this is an old 3 star hotel at best. The pool is really small as is the area around it to sunbathe, albeit the garden is decent. The accommodation we were in is a 2 storey block, very 1980's. Breakfast was basic - it was OK but at £145 a night you expect more, especially given the abundance of local produce that did not appear to be on offer. Very geared to an elderly UK clientele with low quality but familiar items seeming to be the standard fair. The room had AC but was positioned to blow directly over the beds with limited ability to reduce the power, so stifling heat or freezing cold, neither comfortable. The AC box was positioned on the balcony at knee height, so 30+ degrees with what amounts to a hot air blower making the balcony unusable. The bathroom did not appear to have been updated since it was built - circa 1980's feel - bath with a shower curtain and whilst clean just has that 'grandmother' feel about it. Not at all what I expected. The overall experience was really disappointing, we were both genuinely shocked, expected a modern well equipped room in a traditional hotel, but what we got was an unreconstituted1980's experience at 2026 prices. The clientele is overwhelmingly elderly - 70+ good on them, but it seems to me that the place itself and the reviews /commentary accompanying it relate to expectations from that generation - it is not good enough and the place needs a massive overhaul. We stayed in 2 other places in mainland Greece, one half the price, totally updated and fully functional. The other, similar price but beautifully furnished, modern, comfortable, beautiful pool and everything to the expected standard, so it is not that my expectations are unrealistic.
