Wouldn’t recommend feels like motel
2.0Have been coming to Myrtle beach area for 27 years and have traveled to many Hilton locations this has by far been a very bad inconvience overall. From start the beds did not even have an encasement just a sheet thrown over a small fitted mattress pad that kept coming off the beds. The pillows had stains on them one looked like blood. The old outdated air conditioner was leaking so bad on the porch that it was all molded and we couldn’t even go out to sit. The sink was outside the tiny tiny bathroom which when opening door it hit the toilet it was so small with a vent fan that didn’t work the bathroom was so hot had to leave door open to shower. The toilet flapper quit working the last two days and I had to keep taking the top off the toilet to push the flapper down and refill the toilet with bucket water to flush. You can see the ceiling above beds has a leak and looks like the plaster was starting to bubble again. The floors made my feet black I had to clean them myself which had hair and sand on them from previous guests. The fridge was so small you could not hardly fit drinks in there for a beach day. The elevator was so dark the first 2 days the lights weren’t working and the parking garage hallways and garages were just filthy with cockroaches dead and garbage all over. The pools weren’t open by the lazy river and they looked very dirty. The other pool by the cafe was nice but we got kicked out daily with the staff saying there were storms within so many miles they kicked us out and the beaches stayed open. The storms never came during the day. Absolutely no DJ or any live entertainment during pool hours which all The places I’ve ever stayed had for the guests. The food at breakfast was very good. The grounds could be very nice because it’s situated on a quiet private area but it needs a lot of updating and grounds keeping. Guest like entertainment at pools like dj parties during day and maybe kids limbo and activities. Check out seawatch resort north Myrtle look into that hotel has wonderful entertainment for adults and kids at the pools daily. And wonderful maintained grounds and garages. I wouldn’t recommend staying here go to north Myrtle area or Florida Destin.
