Honestly, we spent an amazing time. The room was clean and fun to stay.
10.0It was super nice, vintage. The room was incredible and clean.
− Nothing
Super cute 100+ year old building. Delightfully novel themed rooms. great staff
5.0Super cute 100+ year old building. Helpful staff. Really lovely included breakfast. Delightfully novel themed rooms. Comfortable beds. Free parking. Convenient location without being downtown.
− The room I stayed in didn't have its own climate control. I did find a really nice portable heater in the closet, but my challenge was the room was too warm for my liking and I had no way of cooling the room. Its a 100+ year old building, so there are some quirks that need to be accommodated, just FYI
Just my non-expert opinion but I cannot recommend this place.
1.0Breakfast was rubbish and pretty well inedible. As we arrived we watched 2 x 20 something year olds struggle with their room door on the ground floor. We, 2x 79+ years old were allocated a room on the top floor nearly 40 steps up over 4 flights of stairs. The receptionist helped with the luggage but one with a dicky heart and one with a bad knee we were still struggling. The receptionist did try and find us a more suitable room but with no elevator that was not to be. He brought the luggage upto the room and left us there. The room was an exercise in how to use space badly, The bath was designed to take a mid-teens elephant with keeper operated controls which were not explained to us so we couldn't use the shower and we had to rely on the wash basin. The bed was jammed on a corner. There was no room left for a decent size table. The exit signage was so poor that at my first attempt I took the fire escape stairs instead of the internal stairs and ended up at a locked fire exit door. There was no way I saw signposted to exit (shades of Towering Inferno!). And I had to go back to the top floor to finally find my way down by another staircase. The room window was filthy that one couldn't see out. More over the wall under the window was so thin that the traffic noise was like sleeping at sidewalk level under the traffic lights, until well after midnight. And, of course it started back up again first thing on the morning.
− Pretty well everything.

An absolute must for a stay in Salt Lake. So unique! Fantastic staff. Can’t recommend enough!
10.0I stayed in the Mysteries of Egypt room. It was incredible. The shower is a cobra. Breakfast delivered to my room with a knock. This place is amazing. The front desk person Erin opened the rooms that weren’t occupied for me so I could see the different themes. It was awesome!
