Beautiful stay
10.0We had a great stay at Summit Inn. All of the staff were incredibly nice & welcoming. The grounds, pool & lobby area were beautiful. We had dinner on the Veranda and it was amazing! Food, service & views were unbeatable.
− The bed & bedding weren't the best, but the AC was cold so we slept okay.
Historic Hotel to Explore the Laurel Highlands
8.0The historic inn welcomes you with breathtaking views over the valley below from its giant porch. The lobby and restaurant were very nice too with roaring stone fireplaces and grand open spaces. The restaurant was nice and the food was very good. The hotel was convenient to local attractions, such as Falling Water and Kentuck Knob, which is why we stayed. A few complementary overnight EV chargers were a nice convenience for us too.
− The rooms were a bit on the basic side and a little dated and smallish. Not a big deal for us since we stayed only one night and didn't spend much time in the room, but perhaps could be an issue for longer stays.
Will return for another stay
8.0Historic and beautiful.
− Waiting on dinner even with reservation
Historic and Beautiful
8.0We loved the location the hotel, the view from the hotel was beautiful, and the furnishings inside were historic and well-kept. We also enjoyed looking at the historic pictures and documents on the walls.
− The value for the king room we got was lacking. The room did not have a refrigerator, so we couldn't store any food left over from the restaurant. The restaurant was great, although my husband ordered the prime rib special and it was so grizzly that he ended up wasting most of it.
Historic property with rustic charm.
9.0The location is perfect for exploring all the area has to offer. The veranda offers a fabulous view and I had a nice meal.
Very good. I wish I had a reason to plan another, longer visit.
8.0We loved to see the history of the inn. The lobby was so comfortable and welcoming.
− Guest room doors make a lot of noise, but I suspect there isn’t much that can be done. There were some issues in the bathroom that were taken care of.
