8.0a shame they don't do breakfast
− coffe machine or kettle in room
Beautiful Comfortable Inn easy walk to town. Reasonable option for skiers.
8.0We stayed here for 6 nights for skiing. We had two rooms in the original inn. The inn is really comfortable. Our rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds and big screen TV’s. We had a king suite and a queen double. The place is spotless and the staff friendly. Housekeeping does a super job. Bathrooms offered plenty of hot water and wonderful towels. Everything has been recently remodeled. No breakfast available at the inn but they do have a great restaurant right inside the inn that opens at 4 pm. We ate dinner there 4 nights. After skiing you often don’t want to go out. Especially when it’s 10 below. The inn offers several gathering places inside to hang out , socialize and watch tv or play board games. Regarding the skiing part of our arrangement. We did not have a car which was not a big handicap. We took the 108 mountain road bus every morning up to the mountain. Bus service is reliable and you get on early enough in the route that we always could get a seat. The downside is the bus stop is about 5-10 minute walk after you cross a busy street. In ski boots on snowy sidewalks it’s not optimal. The city is good about plowing all the side walks. On the way back the bus driver can either drop you off right at the door of the inn which is awesome but they don’t always do that. Sometimes they take you to the next stop and you have the cross that busy street wearing ski boot twice to get to the inn. So bottom line , the bus situation isn’t perfect solution but it’s manageable. The inn could use a place for storing skis. Otherwise you have to haul them up to your room each night. And there is no where on the mountain to leave them either which was curious to us. So you’re hauling your equipment back and forth on the bus. Again not a perfect solution. We enjoyed staying there and recommend the Stowe village inn as long as you’re prepared to walk and carry your equipment each day. We never visited any of the accommodations other than the main inn. I would try to book a room in the main inn. The king suite was awesome.
We had an Awesome time! Grants was great!
7.0No breakfast. Went elsewhere. The staff was excellent! We stayed there for my friend birthday.
− The price. I think it could have been cheaper for just sleeping there.

Charming Inn
10.0This is a great place to stay in Stowe. The location is convenient, parking is easy, staff is super friendly, and it makes for the perfect Vermont getaway. My husband and I stayed in a suite and it was lovely. We enjoyed the old charm mixed with the modern. It truly felt like a home away from home. The morning coffee was always ready on time with multiple options and cheery front desk person to say "good morning"! The staff was super helpful. One night the heat in our room went out and even on a Sunday, they had it fixed right away. I'd highly recommend staying here if in Stowe. It may be more than other options, but you get what you pay for, and it was well worth it.
