− No one to greet us at front desk my wife rang the buzzer still waited a period of time for check in. Older people stairs should be another way to get to upper level. If there was no one said anything. Had to ask for ice.

8.0Very hospitable and friendly staff! Our bed was comfortable and the soaking tub was lovely. Food was good. Pleasant stay overall!
− The road can be noisy - and the building is quite old so they use window units for AC and that was also very loud overnight.
Hadn’t stayed here before but oodles find memories spent @ Echo Lake for much of my childhood.
8.0Quiet location except for some traffic noise. Antique pieces amongst comfy beds & skylights & got a tour as my first cousin’s wife’s grandfather actually helped build this Inn & joined us for a visit on the porch.
− Due to hip replacements & length discrepancies an elevator would have been easier to get to our level. Recent hard rain had made the lake runoff brown & cool temps kept us from the water.

− Breakfast was just ok. They advertise a pool table and dart board as amenities but are not in anywhere close to playable condition.
Great stay for a ski weekend!
9.0Nice homey inn with a great common space (couches, historic description, decors, game room in the basement) and friendly and welcoming staff. We stayed at the queen deluxe room over the weekend to ski at Killington and it's very convenient. They serve breakfast (included) and dinner (extra charge) and are super convenient after a long tiring ski day. The staff went out of their way to help us out when my husband broke his leg during the ski trip. I'd consider staying there again!
− The room is a bit small and sound insulation isn't the best.
