Dissapointing... nice wedding venue, but only if you're a guest!
4.0We Stayed here for a weekend break. After a long drive we were looking forward to a peaceful weekend, however we were unaware that the hotel is predominently a wedding venue, our room was directly above the event hall, the noise from which was horrendous, we complained to the receptionist, who said there were no other rooms away from the event, it was that bad we considered moving to another hotel, but it appeared none were availavble. the music did stop at midnight, but the noise from the guests did not, returning to their rooms at 1.30 in the morning, shouting & banging on doors etc, We complained to the hotel & the booking partner, neither of which were, intersted.

− We travelled for work and AGAIN were unable to get a VAT receipt....get this sorted with your hotels as it's a persistent problem. And why should WE the customer have to chase vat receipts? Just send it to the supplied e-mail address... Interestingly, don't have this problem with other hotels from different booking agencies!
