Have been coming to this property for over 10+ years (before Hilton Vacation Club) same week for an annual family reunion. Units are clean and comfortable year after year and we’ve noticed gradual improvements on the property overall since Hilton purchased.

− This year there was a power outage that caused an issue with the A/C in the south building making it very uncomfortable 2 nights in a row in the FL heat but they did a good job of keeping us updated on the repairs. The other frustration is related to the pool renovation that has been “under construction” for 2+ years. It was closed when we were here last year as well. Not sure why it is taking so long to renovate the pool area. Considering we have stayed here multiple years in a row, it’s very frustrating that you can’t book a room with better views. I never know year to year where my room will be located and this year, I did not like the view or location of my room at the very end of the building overlooking the parking lot and Atlantic Ave. Beach front property should give you choices and rate options for premium beach views.

They offer chairs and umbrellas at the beach if you get out there early enough. They also provide beach towels .

− They charge 25$ + tax to use the WiFi per day and have access to grills and other things . For over 1200 for 4 nights WiFi should be included . Also more pots and pans to cook with would be nice .

One of the best things about being a long-term HGV owner is the consistent high quality accommodations. Engaged customer service professionals that ensure your stay is exceptional. Well-appointed rooms with well-equipped kitchens. For full week stays you can have a housekeeping visit for fresh bedding, towels and linens. Regardless of location. Always top notch. But not here. I don’t understand why HGV put their name on this dump. Sure. There are worse accommodations in Daytona Beach. But HGV? Surly disengaged front desk workers. Broken drawers and chipped paint in the kitchen. Requested a housekeeping visit after five days. They okayed the service but it never showed up. Worst HGV experience ever.
