I actually come from grantown on spey but moved away many years ago, I was disappointed with the room as it clearly needed decorating and the bathroom was old and tired, the size of the room was good, tea and coffee in short supply ok if you like decaf coffee but no normal type,2 nights the main course was only warm not hot, the first night too tired to complain but the second night i did, i was disappointed that as a scottish hotel in the highlands there was a lack of scottish staff, lastly my husband accidently left his shaver in room and 2it took nearly 3 weeksto receive it back despite ringing several times, paying over the phone to get it returned, not impressed with this. overall average stay, average room and average food.

Basic. Good breakfast choices. Friendly staff.

6.0

Our room was average, a little tired. No net curtains in a huge ground floor bay window. Good breakfast selection. Four basic options for evening meal choice. No individual choice of food. Bar good prices. Lovely helpful staff.

Warm room, bad beds

4.0

Even without heat on the room was unbearably warm (30 d celsius), bathroom hotter. Not really possible to vent effectively because window did not fully open. Mattress seemed worn since springs were felt through the overmattrass. Cleaning seemed so and so since wall to wall carpets obviously had not been vacuumed for a while. Restaurant food and breakfast good. They served not only englis breakfast an cereal, but also toast.

Much fun was had here

10.0

I loved it here. While my Daughter, Husband, and Granson stayed in a room at the front, I was in a single room at the back. My room was small and wasn't posh, but it had everything I needed, was clean and bed comfy. The food was good, staff were great. What I really loved was all the twisting corridors between rooms. It felt like I was in The Shining film. I had so much fun taking a video to show my friends and they agreed. I'll definitely and happily stay here again. Thank you to all who work here x

Stayed for 2 nights on a motorbike tour with friends. The front lawn area is very nice and parking g for bikes was good. Hotel was clean , rooms fine , food very good at breakfast, with very friendly staff . Good value for money and I would return.

Never going back

4.0

Not good drive way. Deep gravel to get to the hotel from our coach on the street. It’s impossible for wheelchair or walker users. The rooms are very disorganized to find. Shower was bad, while you shower other part of your body is cold, because the pressure is disappointing. Staffs are nice trying their best to help.
