Lovely stay.
10.0Booked a four night bed, breakfast and evening meal through Secret Escapes. Hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the estuary and Conwy Castle. The views from many of the hotel rooms look over the estuary or the marina. Beautiful views especially with the great weather we had. We had a superior room which was very roomy with a small patio area with chairs/table. Very comfy, large bed. Room was very clean. Restaurant menu was limited but for our four nights we were able to have a different option each evening. Food presentation and quality was excellent. Waiting staff also very professional and friendly. There is a larger menu in the bar area which seemed popular. Breakfast was cooked to order and very good alongside the continental options. We didn’t use the spa as we felt £50 for access in prime hours was a tad expensive. It’s a shame that there isn’t open access for hotel residents (we were aware of this when we booked though). We walked into Conwy which is easy walk on a decent track. We’d definitely recommend. Thank you!
Hidden Gem In Deganwy
10.0It was indeed a pleasure to return to the Quay this July, for us the location, service and friendliness of the staff is paramount to our stays, housekeeping keep the bedrooms in pristine condition during our stay, and nothing is to much trouble when asking for extra tea and coffee. During our stay we had an afternoon tea which was extremely delicious, the waitress even asked what sandwich’s we would like, not many hotels offer that. We would highly recommend the Quay to anyone wanting the best in North Wales.
Really enjoyed the stay and the facilities and were able to explore more of north Wales than we expected to
9.0Great location for exploring and great views from the terrace bar
− Drinks were a bit pricey
Disgusting behaviour
1.0Absolutely nothing
− The fact that you accepted a request, to accommodate someone in absolute dire straits, only to then cancel whilst I was walking 3 miles to your premises with a dog, in hot weather- disgusting
Great views and great location
8.0Great location and easy to reach Conwy centre. Room was spacious and we had an estuary view. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were very good.
− The only negative was they kept guests waiting in reception until 3pm before releasing the rooms. The majority of the rooms must have been serviced by 2.30 so it seemed petty to keep people waiting.
Heaven is a stay in Deganwy Quay
10.0Very helpful and friendly staff, our room was large and relaxing with a great view across the water. Breakfast to order was amazing so much nicer than a buffet. Nice walks close by, good rail links at Deganwy and quick access to the A55 for trips out.
− Nothing not to like! The good weather was the icing on the Conwy cake.
