Adorable hotel with friendly staff and a great room for family of 5!!!
10.0
I had a wonderful night enjoying the hotel and the environment around it.
9.0It’s a great old fashioned hotel with character.
Exceptional historic hotel, I wish there was one like this for all my travels.
10.0I’ve stayed in several historic hotels and this is my favorite so far. I love that it is family owned and so much of the original hotel still exists. They have modernized just the right things such as bathrooms in the rooms. The shower was very nice and was recently updated. The wood floors felt great to walk on, not an excessive amount of carpet that I think make hotels smell. This hotel didn’t use the fake scents, it just smelled clean. Not fancy, just a beautiful, natural place to stay. I highly recommend. Also, the owners and staff were welcoming.
− The breakfast did surpass most hotels around this price, but it was fine. The little croissants were good.
Beautiful and memorable place to stay during your travels!
10.0Excellent location and amazing preservation of a historical building. I really appreciated how there was a breakfast included with the stay and that they had a parking lot available for guests. Everyone we interacted with at the property was super nice and helpful. Would absolutely recommend anyone staying in Williams or traveling along Route 66 take a night to stay at this property.
− If anything, I would imagine I wouldn’t have been incredibly comfortable staying for an extended period of time since the building is a little small by modern standards due to its age, and of course lacked a lot of amenities you would expect at a luxury resort. They are very upfront about what you should expect when you book with them. I hate to say anything negative because I really loved this property and super appreciate the work the owners are doing to preserve this building.
Loved it! Would love to stay again! Am recommending it to people I love.
10.0I had booked this room with somewhat short notice. I was just looking for the cheapest place I could stay with my daughter for the night while traveling cross country. That’s why I chose The Historic Grand Canyon Hotel. When we arrived, we were both so excited about the location! Right on Historic Route 66, such a cute street with plenty of places to eat and cool shops to look in. Inside was even better. My daughter and I were ooh-ing and aah-ing about the beautiful interior of the hotel, from front stairway, to the front desk (complete with a beautiful brass bell), the adorable library, the updated bathroom in our room, all the way to the ballroom where you eat your breakfast. Helen, the Innkeeper, was so detailed and helpful, so we had no confusion about where to park, how to access our room and even where to eat dinner. She was very friendly, too, and we enjoyed talking to her about our trip as we were checking out.
− I have no complaints at all
Loved everything about this property!!
10.0We stayed here for my birthday in July, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. It’s full of history, and they’ve done an incredible job preserving its original character and charm. I truly believe that when you hire people who genuinely care about their guests and love what they do, success follows—and that’s exactly what this hotel has done. The staff made us feel like we were visiting old friends. Everyone at the front desk was warm, funny, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. We’re from the South, where hospitality means a lot, and I can honestly say this was the best hotel service we’ve ever experienced. The Grand Canyon Railway was just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient, and the restaurants nearby were all excellent. We also took the hotel’s ghost tour, which was so much fun—although it definitely made it a little harder to fall asleep that night! Thank you all for making my birthday so memorable. We had an amazing stay, and we will absolutely be back. Wishing everyone at the hotel continued success and many blessings!
