The location is stunning, the staff is great and I felt very welcomed bringing our dog.

− The prices were too high imo, we only booked breakfast to have options but what you end up paying in the end you could easily go a week to the Maldives as well. Still great location, beautiful hotel and excellent staff!

− Der Strand war einmal zur Hälfte abgesperrt wegen einer Hochzeit. Am nächsten Morgen war eine grosse Gruppe im Frühstücksraum was dann sehr laut war.

After a previous stay at Rosewood London and Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco at Tuscany which was stunning, we decided to celebrate a special occasion at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl. First some positives, the property is amazing. Rooms have spectacular views, the surrounding lakes are surreal and the spa / pool area is also amazing. I had the opportunity to take a massage and must say the therapist did a great job. Room service and Housekeeping staff also 10/10. All requests were done promptly and well. The checkin was dismal. One Mr Lulu or Zulu who the GM introduced us to was absolutely cold and non welcoming. no smile, no welcome and to an extent seemed non interested. Half way through the checkin process he attended another guest and we were left to someone else to complete the formalities. The gentleman who checked us in subsequently also did a hurried job. We had reached the property at 1 pm and when asked for the room were told that the guarantee is at 3 pm. No mention of even trying to get the same readied at the earliest. The welcome at a property like Rosewood should be considered a ritual and guests should be made to feel a bit special on arrival. The breakfast today morning was at the terrace restaurant. There also the experience was horrible. No one seemed interested to ask for coffee, offer cutlery, ask for any warm dishes to be brought. Nothing !! We had to call upon the waiter each and every time and even had to ask for water / glasses / napkins. The response of staff was in Hmms and non professional. The resteraunt itself was not that busy and was adequately staffed. I had to call upon the restaurant manager and complain about the whole experience. When someone checks into a Rosewood property their expectation of service is not what u expect in a HolidayInn. I request the brand to look into this review seriously and invest in some service standards of some people working there.
