− My dog and I were treated great the night when I checked in but not in the morning. I travel with my small dog as a companion and safety. When checking out I let the receptionist know that I was checking out and grabbing breakfast to go. She said my dog wasn’t allowed in the breakfast area so I wasn’t able to get breakfast to go. She told me I could leave my dog alone in the car since she wasn’t allowed to be alone in the room. The sun was beating in making it a hot car. We respected the hotel rules and the receptionist doing her job and we left without being able to grab breakfast to go. This caused bad feelings for me and kind of ruined my morning. My dog is well behaved and quiet. Most hotel receptionist say they will hold her leash while I grab breakfast. This receptionist just shrugged her shoulders and basically said it was my problem.
