6.0The man cleaning was very sweet and sort of had to be in charge.
− Breakfast was very simple and on the second day no one was there (everyone in family went to a wedding) and there was no fruit, muffins. Several things were broken with signs on them. Cheap bedding, had to ask for towels. furniture didn't really fit so you had to move things around. We thought Howard Johnson would mean some quality.
Comfortable bed, but the place needs updating.

− The outlet on the bedside lamp was very loose and didn’t work well. There were no charging ports of any kind in the room. The bathroom door/door knob wasn’t very clean.
Stayed here many times, it’s always clean and the staff are kind.

− Pool wasn’t working
adequate. but overpriced for the total offered. Room was very clean.

− Pool advertised but filthy and hadn't been cleaned . Vending machine didn't work, and as we arrived at midnight, was no way to get a beverage we needed. Security door couldnt lock to our room hallway. Dangerous for guests.
Clean and quiet, good location for events at MassMoca.
8.0We didn't eat breakfast there, took one look and decided it was too meager. Ate at a nearby diner. Room was better than expected, large and very clean, very quiet but we were in one of the outer buildings. A nice touch was free water and chips on arrival.
− Price was exorbitant for an event weekend (music festival.) But all the other hotels in the area do the same.
