Our experience at the newly-opened Marlo was good, but they need to pay more attention to details.
8.0Pleasantly surprised to see a kitchen with full-sized refrigerator and cooktop in our room. It was an apartment-sized room with spacious dining room and bath. Location was off the main drag, so very quiet and peaceful, next to a park to take the dogs. Very clean.
− 1. The lightbulb was out on the bedside table, and TV remote didn't work, had to replace the batteries ourselves, even though I called the hotel's number, just got an answering service and they never called us back, so we made do. 2. We were shocked at check-in that there was a pet fee of $50/night. That certainly wasn't on their website, which they admitted, so they reduced the fee to $25/night for us, but had I known, I wouldn't never have stayed in a motel with an expensive pet fee like that. 3. We stayed two nights and I assumed the Keurig coffee pods would be replenished by housekeeping, but no. Had to hunt down a housekeeping cart after-hours and steal some coffee pods 4. There was no body wash in the shower, just two bottles of hair conditioner.

10.0Gorgeous little hotel. Rooms were fresh and modern, the courtyard was lovely and the beds very comfy. We traveled with two dogs and the set up at this hotel was absolutely perfect.
