6.0Property was well maintained, but offers no television and ice machine is always empty. Staff is nice, but town offers little. No real breakfast establishment, only 1 pizza place and an ice cream store. No other eating options. Stay in a different town that offers normal necessities.

10.0The Old Wheeler hotel is a jewel in Wheeler, OR. The owner is always attentive but not hovering. Each room is nicely decorated reminiscent of the 30-50s. The bathrooms for each room is in the hall but is it not a problem. The views of the bay and marina are great from the rooms. I recommended this place without reservations.

10.0This was the most peaceful, restorative, and lovely experience I’ve had at a stay. I was impressed with the cleanliness, safety, and the wondrous charm of the place and owner. I would absolutely recommend, especially for solo travelers wishing to find a little solace off the beaten path.
