Don't come to this hotel. You're better off not visiting Venice than staying here
1.0It was close to the Ca' Foscari university where I was attending a conference.
− Everything apart from the location. While I understand that it's challenging to keep stuff dry in Venice, letting everything rot and mold over is far from normal. There's a ton of mosquitos and no netting to keep them out - and the mold makes it impossible to stay in the room with the windows closed. The price is exorbitant - once again a general problem with Venice. Still, all of that would be something I would let slide and give them maybe a generous rating of "4" or so if it weren't for the fact that the male staff member was verbally abusive towards me. As I travelled for work, on arrival I asked for an invoice for my employer (this is a formal requirement to get my trip reimbursed). The staff member started finding excuses not to do it and when I finally made it clear that I needed it, he told me that I would only get it while checking out. So on the day of my departure - which needed to be early because I had a long day ahead of me - I came to the reception and found it closed. I had to wait almost an hour for this staff member to come and when I asked him for my invoice, he only then started preparing any, told me that he had three other to sort before mine and started cursing me in Italian. Since we conversed only in English, I am quite sure that he didn't intend for me to understand his relentless stream of verbal abuse towards me. Well, I know Italian and understood what he meant and it was very nasty indeed.

7.0Das Frühstück war sehr gut., auch der Zimmerservice. Wir konnten auch unser Gepäck im Hotel abstellen. Es liegt zentral.
− Das WLAN ging nicht im Zimmer und aus der Dusche kam nur spärlich Wasser.
