Overnight stay just what we needed
10.0My husband and I were enroute from Vancouver, WA to Bend, OR and had had enough driving so looked online for a place near Redmond. It was quite a distance to locate the place and at the low price, we were understandably skeptical as to what we would find. Upon arrival, we saw beautiful, tidy grounds and a huge spread-out facility. We were warmly greeted at the front desk by Katie and her big smile, who went out of her way to make sure we had a room we liked- right on the golf course, with a balcony. She even walked us to the room so we could have a look then brought us a couple of wine glasses that we could use as I had mentioned we had stopped at a winery and wanted to enjoy our bottle of wine. She is a keeper! Our room was clean with all the necessities and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a dinner at their restaurant- Niblick's- of a wedge salad and baby back ribs which was prepared well and all very tasty. And we got an after-dinner treat when our drive around the property led us to stop and watch a small herd of deer that came close to our vehicle while grazing. Overall, a respite that was an excellent value and just what we needed.
Quiet and fun for kids!
7.0Location was amazing. Quiet at night. Loved the pool so close. Beds were very comfortable with high thread count sheets. Very friendly staff.
− Plug ins for coffee maker non functional. Decor , carpets, paint, was dated but functional and clean. Hot tub by pool was not heated....more of a cold plunge. One restaurant had exceptional service and food. The café needed more staff.
The Lodge is a Motel 6 at best
2.0Lodge Rooms were awful...dirty and dated, bathroom sink no cold water, clogged drainage, mold, furniture old and dated, pictures speak volumes. The rooms were NOT clean. Only AC in bedroom. I called to get rate and was told $225 a night, Expedia as $175. There is no way this room is worth $175. I was ready to leave this place.
Very Comfortable Hotel
10.0We had such a great stay at this hotel. I had to write a review because the staff were over the top friendly and helpful. After a long drive, the front desk were warm and welcoming. Our room was super clean. Our night of sleep was quiet and comfortable. The amenities were nice. The location was easy to get in and out of. The overall value was fantastic. We would highly recommend. Thank you for such a nice stay!
