8.0Perfect for me and my dog. Chong was very accommodating and gave us a corner room with its own little "deck" near the guest laundry. Lots of space for dog walking (not to mention all the trails and beaches that dogs on leash are allowed). It's an old seaside motel but rooms have been updated and are very clean. On the south side of Fort Bragg just 1/4 mile from Hwy 20, it was quiet and the room was set back from the highway. Walking distance to Rolling Dough Bakery/Coffee open early in the morning. Sadly, the hot tub was closed, but overall Coast Inn was what I expected and good value compared with so many more expensive offerings.
