10.0Wij begrijpen de commentaren van sommige mensen niet. Wij logeerden tijdens onze reis in Calabria in 5 hotels en wij kunnen stellen dat het San Domenico Hotel zeker niet moet onderdoen voor sommige 4sterren (!) hotels. De kamer was heel netjes, de badkamer voldoende ruim en met een goedwerkende (!) douche EN haardroger. De handdoeken waren kraaknet en roken lekker. Ontbijt hebben wij niet genomen, maar als lunch kon je aan de poolbar gerust een vers belegd broodje bestellen. Eveneens een ruim assortiment aan frisdrank en bieren in de poolbar. Het receptie- en barpersoneel zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ok, het gebouw zelf is misschien wat aan vernieuwing toe, maar de locatie is gewoonweg fantastisch ! Vlak aan/op het uitgestrekte, brede zandstrand en op 10 minuten wandelen van het centrum. Gezellige (strand)bars en restaurantjes op nog geen 200m. Wij kwamen met een bang hart aan, maar vertrokken met een heel aangenaam en voldaan gevoel.

Good hotel right in front of beach
10.0Very nice and helpful staff. Upgraded me to a room with sea view on arrival, and were open to arranging a later check-out on the day i departed.
