− The website and booking.com say that an a la carte menu is available. This is not true. The evening meal is a mediocre buffet. On the day of our visit this was barely warm poached salmon or cold chicken drumsticks sitting in gongealed fat alongside the usual salad buffet (some of which looked "tired" and past its best. There was a selection of desserts and fruit (mouldy strawberries, dried out melon and sliced fruit (all of which appeared again at breakfast). Not great and definitely not worth 25 euros each. We did ask why the advertised a la carte menu wasn't available and were told (very rudely) that Campanile only do a buffet option now. My husband is diabetic and needed to eat as his blood sugar was getting low, otherwise we'd have walked out and gone to the grill a short walk away.
