10.0Wonderful welcome with lavender gin drink with ice on a hot afternoon . Substantial foyer and excellent guest service on arrival . Very comfortable room and bed. Great swimming pool area in the other building . Great guidance to dining in a Michelin restaurant along the road.

10.0We had a one-night staycation at the Battle house hotel. This is Mobile's nicest hotel. We stayed on the historical side of the hotel. Currently the hotel is renovating the tower rooms. I have always liked the historical side rooms better however if you want a view of the rive get a tower room. The staff that we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We got an upgraded room on the executive floor. Our room was clean. large and was very nice. The executive lounge is not open on Saturday night but was open Sunday morning. The lounge is small but had a nice selection for breakfast. We ate at the trellis room for breakfast. It was really good. My wife had pancakes to order and an omelet. I ate from the buffet which was really good. The Buffett is $25 per person. The Battle House is a great place to stay.
