Liora Estate is H'burg heaven!
9.0Location is fantastic, right off the main square and near to many great tasting rooms, bars and restaurants. Little Saint, next door, is a neighborhood gem with inventive vegan options, amazing ambiance and fantastic coffees/wines. Hotel was tastefully decorated, rooms are spacious and amenities are spot on - comfy beds, cozy pillows, rockin' robes and the softest sheets. Bathroom was large and had a lovely tub. Common areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated and accessible.
Great location, okay overall experience
4.0The best thing about Liora Estate is the location and being in the center of things in Healdsburg. This is the main reason for choosing Liora. You don't need a car which makes it easy to get around and visit all the shops and restaurants. They have valet service which makes up for not having a private parking lot. For the price of the rooms, I expected a bit more of a personalized experience or at the very least someone responding to my multiple attempts at contacting them ahead of the trip. The many messages I received from them through Expedia seemed to indicate they were ready to make our stay a special experience. After no one responded on Expedia's app, I tried emailing them. I got a bounce back each time after two attempts. When I called and left a message, no one called me back. When I called again two days later, they seemed unaware of the missed emails or voicemail. Maybe it was a new staff or an isolated experience but for the price of the room, I would recommend staying somewhere else if you're going for a special occasion.
The best place to stay in Healdsburg
10.0My second time at this absolutely beautiful boutique hotel on a quiet street steps from the square. Decor and amenities you'd expect from a large luxury hotel but on an intimate scale- the breakfast basket was a highlight! Super spacious room and very comfortable bed as well. Service was warm and very gracious. Will definitely book again.
an oasis in the heart of Healdsburg...
10.0is this lovely property...cannot say enough how welcomed we felt by the lovely lady on duty that day (do apologize for not getting her name)....she and the entire staff were there every minute to help, answer questions and simply give us the best time...our room was lovely......leafy green from the trees outside gave it an atmosphere of calm and quiet...everything was perfection...comfy bed, beautiful bath towells and bath amenities...coffee in the morning and a creative breakfast basket all added to the details that make this property so special. Valet service was quick and efficient...happy hour...actually most of the day, as wine was available to you at the front desk!... we did enjoy the weekend wine tasting very much...and the proximity to everything was a real pleasure...we walked to all the restaurants we had chosen...Healdsburg is such a delightful place to be...so vibrant, colorful, full of interesting spots....and to stay at Liora Estate just made it the very best of times...we will return without hesitation...thank you all at Liora for your graciousness...
Poor customer service
2.0I would not recommend this hotel The Rooms are nice, but the front desk and customer service is horrible for a hotel this price. I doubt they'll stay in business long. Try another hotel.
Extraordinary location, best mattress and pillow (bed) comfort, spacious room and old-world charm.
10.0Did not take breakfast in the hotel. N/A
− Did not understand how to use the remote control to thousands of TV stations. A simple, visual instruction would have been helpful. My husband could not access his favorite sports channels. This ultimately was not an issue, because it was late at night and we were busy having breakfast outside of hotel next day.
