Beautiful boutique hotel, exceptional staff and old school elegance
10.0The hotel was amazing and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Having a sit down menu for breakfast was also something I haven't had for a long time, but really enjoyable.

Quaint but beautiful Bonsai paradise
9.0The hotel is a Bonsai lover's paradise. Rustic but well appointed rooms. Exceptionally attentive and helpful staff . Just wish they were a bit better in English. Quiet and peaceful...yet located near most important tourist sites. The restaurant food is great n staff good. Overall an excellent experience.
− The room doors need a little upkeep n repair. Difficult to lock n open. A grab bar in the shower cubicle would be a great addition fr guest safety.

− Extremely disappointed with the rigid and uncaring attitude of this property. I had a significant medical emergency and was medically certified as unfit to fly. Despite being a frequent traveler and reaching out well in advance to request a simple date change or credit, the management was completely unresponsive and refused to show any flexibility. They were more interested in pocketing €990 for a room I physically could not reach than in maintaining a professional relationship. I offered to provide full medical documentation and even accept a future credit, but they chose to be obstructive. If you value a hotel that treats guests like human beings rather than just a transaction, stay elsewhere. I will be pursuing this through a formal insurance claim and bank dispute. Avoid at all costs.
