Very elegant building and charming appeal. Historical aspects appealing and very interesting! Dinning area is very comfortable and bright! Lovely for breakfast and coffee! Friendly and kind staff checking in and very helpful. Loved the access to the balcony and being able to take in the city atmosphere. Close to grocery store and restaurants to explore. Tranquil and peaceful!

− Loved the property …. I think it would be an asset to have a small coffee maker in each room… challenging carting coffee up to higher levels in the building if carrying two cups.

Lovely B&B, but next to a homeless shelter

The B&B is a Victorian house with character, and the owners were kind and responsive. We had a very noisy first night, but they solved the issue and the second night was better. Breakfast was also a nice, with several freshly prepared options, including Eggs Benedict and pancakes.

− While not the property itself, its surroundings are somewhat complicated. There is a homeless shelter on the next block, and during our stay we witnessed several disturbing situations, including people openly smoking crack nearby and others who appeared to be under the influence of fentanyl. One woman was standing in the middle of the road, oblivious to the traffic, while another was partially undressed just down the street. This is obviously not the owners’ fault, but it is something worth considering when choosing the location. We simply avoided walking near the shelter and took taxis back in the evening. It’s a shame, because the neighborhood itself is attractive, with Victorian homes and a pleasant residential atmosphere, but its proximity to the shelter can make it feel uncomfortable at times.

The Inn is very well maintained. The staff is super nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
