Unsanitary room, previous guest's underwear in drawer, and broken refund promises. Avoid!

Location near the beach is good, but unfortunately, the entire stay was completely ruined by terrible room hygiene and dishonest management.

− Disgusting Hygiene & Unprepared Room: We arrived late at night to Unit 166. Trash bags were left right outside the back door, there were NO sheets or pillowcases for the pull-out sofa (our children had to sleep on beach towels), and worst of all, we found a previous guest's underwear left inside the dresser drawer! Financial Dishonesty & Broken Promises: Staff acknowledged the issues and explicitly promised a 50% refund ($148.08) for the ruined night in writing. They printed a Folio showing a -$148.08 credit, but only recorded it internally in their system without actually processing the credit card refund transaction to Booking.com. Unresponsive Management: When Booking.com tried to trace the funds, the hotel completely ghosted both customer support and my messages. They approved a refund to appease us on site, but never actually sent the money. Completely unacceptable service.

It was a terrible stay. The only good thing was a refund when I left.

− Property did not have toilet paper, hand towels, soap, towel towels, a working coffee machine, easily accessible, beach chair (was over a block away to pick up)

− No había servicio de limpieza y reposición diario ni una kitchinette. Siendo que no nos dieron desayuno, tampoco reponían cartuchos de café para la cafetera de la habitacion.

− Great Location Ruined by Terrible Management While I absolutely loved the property and its location, this hotel is, in my opinion, extremely poorly managed. During a four-night stay, we had to go to the reception no less than 10 times to resolve basic, ongoing issues. Here is a breakdown of our experience: - Check-In & Missing Information: We were not provided with the required access code for our door in advance. Once we finally gained entry, the room had no shampoo or towels. - Housekeeping Failures: Despite paying for cleaning services, our room was ignored for three out of our four nights. Every morning, reception reassured us the room would be cleaned, and every evening we returned to a dirty room. We were repeatedly dismissed with the excuse that "the cleaning staff had already left," followed by empty promises for the next day. Furthermore, basic amenities like soap, shampoo, and towels were not replaced for three days, forcing us to constantly beg for them at reception. - Security Risks & Unprofessionalism: On the single day our room was actually cleaned, the staff left our door completely unlocked for the entire day with all of our personal belongings inside. Bizarrely, the AC was also left running on full heat—a move that felt like intentional retaliation for our previous complaints. - Rude Staff: While not everyone was problematic, several receptionists were incredibly rude and completely lacked empathy. Rather than apologizing for the hotel's failures, they acted as though they were doing us a massive favor by addressing issues that should never have happened in the first place. After 20 years of traveling, this is easily one of the worst-managed hotels I have ever stayed in. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere until this property undergoes a serious management overhaul.

Location was good, walking distance to beach and all the bars and restaurants. Only thing to be aware of is due to being so close to bars/restaurants there are delivery trucks in the morning that are very loud.

− When we arrived we went to find the reception which took us under 10 minutes. In that time the resort staff had clamped our car.
