Excellent place to use as a base to explore nature and the nightlife of Kalispell. Excellent service and great location.

Horrible hotel room

This is absolutely worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The outside doors do not lock even though there is a touch pad to unlock them with your key. There is no elevator. The carpets appear to have not been cleaned since they were installed. In my room the security latch was broken. There is mold on the caulk in the bath tube. The shower head is encrusted with scale. The tube drains extremely slowly so you are left standing in water while taking a shower. There is no tissue paper. There are multiple drill holes in the top of the dresser. The tv didn’t work since the cable was disconnected and lying behind the dresser. The phone didn’t work so I couldn’t call the office to report problems. The alarm clock was unplugged with a very bent plug. When I plugged it in I couldn’t get it to work (set). There was sand or dirt in the bed. There was a music festival in nearby Whitefish so the hotel jacked up the room rates to over $300 per night. The breakfast offered was mediocre at best. I reported the tv problem to the front desk and was told to juggle the cable and he would come up to check it out. Never showed up. In 30+ years of staying in hotels for business and pleasure this the worst chain hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Absolutely one of the filthiest rooms ever. Do not stay here.

Absolutely the worst room we have ever stayed in. The toilet was dirty inside and out and all around the base. There was mold all around the bathtub and the shower head was so crusted over with rusty calcium deposits it barely put out water. The air conditioner “clean filter” light was on so we had to pull out the filter and it was full of scum and the whole front and vents were filthy, so we washed it ourselves in order to run it. No one should have been breathing in the air from it when it was that dirty. The lights were plugged into a filthy power bar that was shoved between the mattresses. Total fire hazard. The floors were filthy as well. Shoe prints and dirt all over. I would give it zero stars if possible and if we could have gotten a room elsewhere we would have left. The hotel should be shut down for the mold alone.
