I would like to be reimbursed for not staying there due to the risk of bed bugs.
1.0I didn’t like anything about this hotel. After reading the horrible and disgusting reviews, I did not want to stay there. Unfortunately, when I booked online, I did not see reviews. My bad. But I went to the hotel just to check it out. I didn’t like the area and the room seemed ok, but it was dark and drab and the air conditioning unit had yellow splotches on it (what the heck??!) I walked back to the office and said I couldn’t stay there. The staff member said she never saw any bed bugs and denied hearing about any bad reviews. During my 7 hr drive up to Sonoma county when my daughter started reading the reviews, I decided to contact Booking.com. They instructed me to contact the hotel. The hotel told me to contact Booking.com. So I won’t ever get my money back. I lost $198 bucks on this ridiculous hotel that I did not stay in. I did not want to risk bed bugs, and did not feel safe in the area. It’s frustrating that I will not be reimbursed. I just couldn’t take the chance to stay in a place that had/has atrocious reviews.
