Lovely stay overall. We really like the nearby beach and the quiet and solitude of this place.
9.0The food was wonderful. The boat was very accommodating with our timing - we arrived later in the evening and the boat captain also took us to the nearby beach the next day (for a small fee). We really like this place and have stayed before. It is just quite far for us to drive from Danang. The room is very romantic and exotic, especially the outdoor shower.
− Two things - the road getting to the river is unpaved the closer you get and after the recent rains it was very difficult to navigate with our car. It needs to be graded and leveled to eliminate the many deep potholes. The other thing is the illuminated exit sign in the room. It is very bright and makes sleeping difficult.
Practicality abandoned and falling apart.
3.0It was probably a nice resort ten years ago. Room was clean aside from maintenance problems. The hotel has hired a skeleton staff to keep the place running somewhat, and they were pleasant.
− Good reviews for this place are too old to be believed.. It was like staying at an abandoned resort. There are serious maintenance issues going on with this place. Only a couple villas are maintained at all. The wifi, shower and toilet all were broken in our room and an exit sign that was on all night was placed over the bed. Bikes were not available when we arrived, not that there is really much to see on this traditional but trash-strewn island. The weather is not the hotel's fault but TV, a sad pool and broken pool table meant we were pretty bored. Food is mediocre and overpriced. I don't often write reviews and wouldn't complain except that we paid 2.1m vnd for the night, expecting a nice experience, but not at all worth it.
