We stay here every time we visit London, Ontario and it we always have a pleasant stay. Diane always makes us feel extra welcome and we've looked forward to seeing her each time over the years! The rooms are always clean and we enjoy the corner rooms which offer a little extra space. If you need to do laundry, you need Canadian cash, something we didn't have on hand. They exchanged our US cash for CA cash at a 1:1 ratio which was nice of them to even offer that option, given that it was a holiday so the businesses were closed, and we were leaving early the next morning and had some clothes to clean. The breakfasts always offer many options, and I like that each morning they offer a different protein, switching between bacon, pork sausage, and turkey sausage during our stay. We also appreciate the fresh fruit and yogurt options! Eggs and potatoes are also offered daily, as well as a variety of carbohydrates. We will continue to stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton for our future travels to London!

− ABSOLUTELY AWFUL DO NOT STAY HERE. We checked into the room late and after we unpacked we saw a CONDOM WRAPPER and a random sock left on the floor next to one of the beds. This shows the room has not been cleaned or vacuumed in the slightest. It was close to midnight and our family was exhausted from the drive so we decided to reluctantly go to sleep and bring up our concerns to the manager in the morning. In the morning, the general manager wasn’t there so we spoke to the housekeeping manager who was extremely rude and started blaming my mother and telling her it’s on her that she should have called in the moment and wouldn’t hear her out when she was explaining that we were exhausted from our drive. She was extremely condescending and rude and offered us $50 off of our stay for this which is honestly unreasonable considering this shows the room hasn’t been cleaned. We will be calling the general manager because this is unacceptable and the housekeeping manager was extremely rude and should not be in the hotel industry if that’s how you treat guests.

− Someone hit my friends car while we were out and they failed to tell us until 3 am. And offered us a tiny goodie bag in the morning to try and make up for it. Need better security.

After our car accident, they cared for us like family

Our Accessible room was perfect for our needs---large, clean & comfortable. The included breakfast had many tasty items & there was a pleasant area to eat. Coffee and tea available 24/7. We had a car accident in the hotel parking lot with damage to our and other vehicles. The hotel staff were kind, supportive and offered practical help such as helping me retrieve all the many items out of our car--in the dark--before it was towed away, and took them up to our room. They stayed with us until we left to go to our room. The next morning they called to ask us how we were doing, and brought us two bags of drinks and snacks. We felt that they really cared about us, far beyond what one would ever expect. I will always remember the Hilton in London as a hotel that offered not only excellent accomodations but superb care of two very shaken-up guests. Hopefully no future guests will need to discover that for themselves. But the Hilton company certainly picked outstanding staff for this hotel.
