− Got there and the power was out would not refund my money told me to contact booking.com . It's been almost a week and I still haven't been refunded my money .

I would not stay here again. I would have driven 10 miles further to get a decently updated hotel.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

− There were no safety features in the bathroom/grab bars in the tub/shower. Hotel was extremely outdated, but it was clean.

Clean no-frills hotel but wayyy too sketchy at night

We chose this hotel for a one-night stopover to cut our drive down a little. The hotel, as other reviews stated, was exceptionally clean, and the property was well-kept. The thing we liked the most, oddly enough, was the bathroom. It was (I'm guessing) the original, well-made ceramic toilet the hotel was built with ... modern-day hotels, the bathrooms are so cheaply made. It also had an old-style heat lamp in the bathroom, which was nice. No idea why modern hotels don't do that anymore! The owner/front desk person was also very friendly and nice. There was also no deposit, which was nice, because it's a real pain to have hundreds of dollars tied up in deposits on a multi-hotel trip.

− Ehhh.... I knew when I booked it that there were no frills: no breakfast, no gym, no pool, etc. I didn't expect that there would be no coffee maker in the room. I don't think I've ever stayed at a place, even the roachiest of roach motels, that didn't at least have a pod coffee maker. I didn't notice until after checkout that there was coffee in the lobby. That wasn't the biggest deal. This place got sketch at night. What the pictures don't show you is that it borders a trailer park. Not everyone staying in the hotel was partying - there were other travelers and families - but it had that element that there's a little bit more going on than just booze and pot. I vape, and I try to respect the rules of hotels, so I go outside. This is the first time in a long time I was too sketched out to go back outside after night, and I waited until the sun came up to go back out. Every time I ran outside, I'd run into a different couple partying it up. Not my thing and definitely not my thing on a family trip. It's also the kind of hotel that opens up directly to the outside, and our door didn't lock well. Our stay wasn't bad, but I wouldn't recommend this place because of the sketchiness, particularly for the price. This should be priced well under $100 a night for what you get, and also dealing with a partying element.
