9.0The location is excellent; close to stores and restaurants. The Island Creamery is just next door. It is also just a short drive to the beach. The pool was great, with plenty of chairs and often, only a few other people. Breakfast is complimentary and there is a variety of fruits, breads, yogurts and hot waffles. There is also plenty of parking.
− Our rooms had not been cleaned by the end of our second full day.(it is the busiest time of year, and I am sure they just missed us) However they sent someone right away when we called the front desk. Also our bathroom door did not close properly, which was not a problem for us really, but might be for another family.

10.0The Atlantic Shores Inn in Chincoteague, VA was one of the nicest places we ever stayed. The rooms were pristine, the staff was genuine and kind and the hotels location was perfect. Just steps away from everything! E-bike rentals, the Nations #1 rated creamery, food trucks and restaurants, mini golf and the water park. And of course just a mile down the road was Assateague Island Beach and the amount of wild ponies we saw everyday was breathtaking. The Ocean was spectacular with big waves and soft sand. We will definitely be going annually and staying at Atlantic Shores!
