We've Already Booked Our Next Stay
10.0This was our first time staying at the Rine, and it definitely won't be our last! We have three young children, and they absolutely loved it—so much so that we've already booked to come back for Halloween weekend. From the moment we arrived, everything got off to a great start. We came early just to park up, relax, and let the kids enjoy the play areas, but to our surprise our room was already ready, which was a lovely bonus. The location is excellent, just off the motorway, making it very easy to get to. There was such a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel, and for a family of five with breakfast included, we felt it offered fantastic value for money. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and despite being so family-friendly, the noise levels were just right. The service was excellent throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to the staff in the soft play area. It was incredibly busy on both days, but they were friendly, helpful, and managed everything so well. They really deserve recognition. The swimming pool was lovely, and I especially enjoyed the plunge pool, which was a unique touch. The beer on tap was also excellent—something that's often hit and miss in hotels. If I had one small criticism, it would be that the adult meals in the bar were a little overpriced for what they were. The food was nice enough but fairly average. That said, it certainly didn't take away from our overall experience. On the other hand, the children's meals were fantastic value and very well received. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. Overall, we had a fantastic family break and can't wait to return for Halloween weekend. We'd happily recommend the Rine to other families looking for a relaxing, child-friendly getaway.
