Outstanding small hotel in all aspects
10.0The Oaks is by far the most beautiful small, isolated hotel on the Easter Shore of MD. The hotel is immaculate inside as well as the grounds. We have stayed there the last 3 years during the summers and will return in the Fall. The staff goes out of their way from welcoming you until you check out. The hotel staff makes you feel like you are family, and that is not an exaggeration.
Magical and special!
10.0We had a magical night at The Oaks celebrating a 60th wedding anniversary with about 125 people. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, having been completely renovated in recent years. Furnishings and decor are elegant yet comfortable in coastal soft blues and golds. The on-the water space is beautiful - a sprawling porch, a beautiful semi-enclosed pier (we had cocktail hour out there, and even their own stunning restored vintage Hinkley boat available for guest outings. The food was delicious and the staff is lovely and accommodating. We had the added pleasure of spending the evening in one of the water front rooms. It was also delightful - pretty furnishings, very comfortable bed, luxurious linens. BONUS - the nearby historic town of Easton is full of good restaurants and fun shops!

10.0Go for the view but stay for the food. The food gets better and better. No attention to detail is too small for the chef or staff to overlook. Everything is prefect and they all try to be better than perfect each time and they succeed. Yari is the best waitress. Happy hour is spectacular. Check the calendar for events including closures and music.
A delightful stay at The Oaks
10.0My husband and I just enjoyed the most delightful three days at the Oaks. The hotel is beautifully decorated , the grounds are immaculate and perfectly landscaped. The waterfront setting allows for a gorgeous and serene experience. Our room was lovely and extremely well appointed. The perfect weather allowed us to enjoy delicious breakfasts every morning on the terrace and an exquisite dinner on the pier, thus savoring the beautiful scenery. From the minute we arrived to the time we had to leave, we felt right at home. The entire staff could not have been more helpful, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel welcome every minute of our stay. We can't wait to come back!
wonderful - best ever
10.0This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed. Better than ritz, four season, newbury, etc. the receently completed renovation was beautiful and the construction quality outstanding. all the staff were super well trained and friendly. the food was excellent. the locatin is beautiful. i can see why is a great wedding venue (have paid for two weddings). plus, not expensive as these things go. we stopped for a break from our florida to vermont semi annual migration. cant say enough wonderful things.
