It was a pleasant one night stay that allowed us a nice visit with our grandson who lives nearby.
8.0It is nicely located in Lake Placid across the street from the Olympic Center. Room was large, but on the second floor with no elevator. We got our bags up and the staff offered to help if we needed it. It is an old establishment with limited outlets and a older bathroom, but beds were comfortable. AC was effective, but noisy. It was a good value relative to other facilities in the tourist town in the midst of the summer tourist season. There is a breakfast with waffles, coffee, cereal, and some fruit.
− As mentioned above, AC was noisy. Bathroom was small with shower curtain. Limited electrical outlets and no elevator so people with lots of bags or troubles with stairs need to be sure to ask for a first floor room.
We loved our stay in Lake Placid village.
