10.0Peaceful, tranquility that surpasses all understanding! Set back away from the road surrounded by fields woods and wildlife. Truly a place to disconnect. No TV in rooms, great place to come back to after a long day exploring Ashland and the La Pointe region.
− I’ve nothing to note here. I grew up in the central hills of Minnesota, this had all the feels of home.

10.0We had a fantastic stay at Second Wind Country Inn. The building and grounds are beautiful. The owner-operator is sweet and kind; we had a great conversation with Kelly. While some might complain about the lack of television, it was very nice to have weekend unplugged from big media. I highly recommend Second Wind. You're only minutes away from downtown Ashland (and excellent food) and within a short drive of other attractions like Bayfield and the Lake. The country side is gorgeous and the air is fresh. We'll definitely be keeping Second Wind in mind the next time we venture up to Lake Superior.
