great location and views
10.0This a lovely old building with original antique furniture. Breakfast is served on the deck with a fantistic view of the harbor.

8.0A well preserved heritage hotel with helpful staff. The area has lots of hip cafes and restaurants. There is an enormous amount of street art. Things to be aware of: The hotel is in the hilly part of the old city Valparaiso. You can expect very narrow cobbled streets and very steep climbs with lots of steps. Parking on the street is difficult.
More of a BB than a hotel
6.0This "hotel" is more akin to a BB than a typical hotel. It seems a converted mansion from days gone by. As a result you get aged, small rooms with small beds and tight bathrooms that, along with the common areas, creak and crunch as you and your neighbors walk around. It can be annoying in the middle of the night when your trying to get some sleep. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the bay was a highlight. The location is a high traffic area and that means noise at peak times. The Service was great and the place has its charm but be warned; the noises due to the age of the place and busy tourist location can be a problem.
