8.0Trip was during spring break which we weren’t aware when we book which made it very busy. Food was good. Hotel was nice! Sometimes are our room had an organic smell to it. Service and workers were nice! Would stay here again just not during spring break.

6.0The check-in process provided too much information too quickly, and then not pertinent info. like having to insert your Key card to turn on lights, TV, etc...The lobby furniture was dirty, and in need of repair. The food was pretty good! The BEST was ARIANA leading the water aerobics! She was inviting and fun and had lots of charisma! Too bad there was a strong undertow at the beach.
Dishonest business, good facilities, bad for vegetarians
2.0I have just returned from a stay at Riu Sante Fe and while my kids really enjoyed the location and amenities, I do not intend to ever return or do business with this company again. I booked 2 rooms via booking.com. Prior to arrival Riu said booking was incorrect and I would be charged $500 usd at check-in for my children. When I check in, they charge that $500. Then later, the manager Victor calls me and tells me I need to pay an additional $500 otherwise he will cancel my reservation. The location, many of the service staff, were all good and my kids really enjoyed the beach and pools. The food got repetitive and as a vegetarian, this is not a veg friendly place. There are countless mislabeled food items and the staff really seems to not understand or not care about their labeling. All in all, enjoyed my Cabo trip again but will not do business with this company. For as much as I paid, I would have expected significantly better treatment by this staff given they made the mistake not me.

2.0Became seriously ill at this resort, as did my daughter. We stayed there from February 21 to Feb 28 2026 and will not be returning! Be interesting to know if anyone else got sick at this time...
