Place is beautiful, the resort is a bit outdated, the rooms need some work. but by staying there allows you to go to the other Atlantis. The shuttle takes you, they have good service there. Beach is beautiful, could see different fish around. Staff is not as polite as you think. The resort has a fee that Charges you upon check out, they call it Resort fee, I don’t know what they include with that. In addition, gratuity is add to your room per day. Aquarium is beautiful and the aqua park too. We had an issue with the staff at the beach, they were moving all the chairs and didn’t allow you to stay after 6 PM. Very estrange.

Tourist trap, look elsewhere

We booked this for a family of 7 with kids from 15-20 yrs old, and would strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere. The resort was clean, the staff was nice, but that’s really where the positives stop. The taxis are a joke, they try to rip you off every chance they can, even when they give a price. The resort transportation is great, when they show up and go where they say. I lost track of how many times we were told to be bus wasn’t going where it said it was. The Reef is the furthest of the towers, so you either have a bus ride or mile walk to basically everything. The Cove is next to it and has a cool pool, but Reef guests can’t use it. The reef has no food outside of Starbucks, a Sundry Shop and a hut on the beach. The pool is clean, but small. The ocean however was great. We snorkled right off the beach and saw Sea Turtles, Barracuda, and Sting Rays. Very cool. The waterpark was huge, and still packed everyday. The Leap of Faith is cool, but you can’t actually see the sharks in the tube because the water is right in your eyes. The food options across the resort were horrible and overpriced, even at the marina and shops. The theme for the entire trip. The water in your room smells like rotten eggs because of the desalinating process, which they fail to mention in anything. The views and water were amazing, but I can’t believe there aren’t better options somewhere other than Nassau. If you like everyone trying to rip you off every moment, this is a great place. If you enjoy spending $40 for spaghetti noodles and a can of tomato sauce, this is your resort.

Great Family Vacation

Had a great time at the Reef. The room was plenty big enough for our family of 5. We stopped at the grocery store on the way in to get groceries so we could cook. This made a big difference in the cost. I know that the food is expensive but it is not any more expensive than any other resort. The resorts in Myrtle Beach are just as expensive for mediocre food. The best place was the B side restaurant at the Reef beach. The burgers were great. They did run out of food though like no corn dogs or chicken tenders. And they never have towels. That is a little annoying. We had plenty of hot water and the staff were all extremely nice. Even the young life guards were super friendly. The shuttle is somewhat annoying though. None come forever and then like 4 show up at the same time. And you have to have a seat, no standing. But, I love this place. I will certainly come back.

Overrated yet mediocre resort

I definitely did not enjoy our stay at Atlantis. For the amount we paid, the customer service was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The bellmen were the only staff members who consistently treated us with respect. Outside of them, don’t expect much. It seemed like most of the employees were unhappy or in a bad mood, and that really affected the overall experience. When you’re paying premium prices, you expect premium service, and unfortunately, Atlantis fell far short of those expectations. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Atlantis to anyone.

Your stay at Atlantis is subject to important legal terms and conditions that effect your legal rights and mandate disputes be resolved exclusively before a Court in The Bahamas.

Maximum occupancy per room is 4 guests INCLUDING children. If booking 4 adults plus 1 or more children, TWO or more rooms are required. Children 11 years and younger stay for free with paying adults. Children ages 12-17 pay $50 per nights plus daily housekeeping gratuities.

The credit or debit card used to make the reservation must be presented upon check-in at the hotel.

Upon check-in, a credit card guarantee or cash deposit of USD 250 per room per day will be held for incidental charges. Upon check-out, guests are required to settle any outstanding charges in full using a credit card, travellers’ checks or US dollars.

Mandatory Gratuity of USD $8.50 for Studios Per person, Per night, 12 and older; USD $20.00 for One-Bedroom Suites Per person, Per night, 12 and older; and $US 26.00 for Two-Bedroom Suites Per person, Per night, 12 and older.
