Worst place to stay ever.
2.0− I didn't like not having room cleaned daily. Never stayed in a motel where the room was not serviced every day. We had to empty our own trash. We had to request clean towel and wash cloths daily. We had to request tissue paper. Did not know that we had to pay to park until we got there, and did not know there was an extra charge for our dog until we arrived. I called three motels in Helen at about the same price range and they told me that there was no fee for parking or pets. They also told me that they serviced the rooms daily. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a motel and by using booking.com I can assure that will not happen again and I plan post to all social media outlets for everyone to see. You need to change your policies and I would like a refund for the time we spent there. It's bad when you live on a fixed income and want to take your grandchildren on a short vacation and have to deal with this type of situation.
Great location and very nice place to stay.
9.0It didn’t look like much from the outside but when we checked in the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was really nice and very clean. It appears that the room has been recently renovated. The location to downtown Helen was great. We were very pleased.

− Maybe an elevator. We got lucky the staff notified us that there was no access to an elevator. We let them know we couldn't go up and down the stairs especially after walking around town. They were very understanding and made a request for us for a ground floor room . Thank you. Greatly appreciated.

8.0A little outdated, but the check in clerk was very nice. Breakfast was basic (no eggs, sausage, small other Breakfast foods for decent meal) but grands loved the waffle maker. We loved the salt water pool as well & the kids played well when not tubing down the river.

− Very poorly maintained, overall condition would not attract a homeless person, and then pay for parking on top of everything

− Breakfast was weak. Rooms are small, especially the bathroom.
