6.0Overall the stay was disappointing. For the price we paid for a Stable King for one night, we were definitely overcharged. The room was extremely basic and small. One of the windows didn't close from the inside so my husband had to go outside and push it closed from there. When we woke up in the morning they were dripping in condensation. There were zero nice touches in the room. The only thing that saved the day was the restaurant on site. The food was excellent. Overall the service was good, however, we were sat in the bar having a late afternoon drink and we overheard a manager almost shouting at one of the restaurant staff because he had allowed a couple to book a table at 9:30. Apparently that was wrong but for her to berate him in front of hotel guests was disgusting behaviour. I'm afraid we won't be returning.
