Great location if you want peace and quiet, good communication and friendly staff
9.0The room was spacious, comfortable and the A/C was great. There were plenty of places to place luggage and the bathroom had plenty of space too. The staff was friendly and communicated ahead of our stay and even arranged a private water taxi ride both from and to the airport when we left. They also arranged a water taxi to Murano for a tour of a glass factory. The hotel also offered a breakfast at 10 Euro which was a buffet style and exceeded expectations.
− There was some communication gaps, but they only caused minor delays so it really wasn't bad at all. My wife didn't like how hard the bed was, but I liked it. Also, the duvet cover for the bed was located in a trunk in the room and we didn't figure that out until our second night so we were cold sleeping the first night.
Okay stay in a quiet neighbourhood
7.0Overall okay, good price for Venice, close to bus/train station, in a quieter area, but still walkable distance to the center. The bed was comfortable, the AC was working well - I slept very well. Breakfast was fine too - although there were no vegetables available. The staff were friendly and helpful.
− It’s probably due to Venice being an old town with old buildings, but the bathroom was very poorly ventilated. I stayed there one night (one person room on the ground floor) and even after such a short time (and showering twice), the bathroom started to smell like a wet towel. Also there were a lot of drain flies in the room - I had to “get rid of” about twenty of them. Again, probably due to drainage issues. Please note I haven’t asked the staff to remove them, so I am not sure if they were aware of this issue.

9.0Le quartier un peu à l'écart du centre-ville de Venise était très agréable et très beau. La chambre était récemment refaite, jolie et confortable.
