A bit disappointing for the price.

The location, grounds and lobby were beautiful. The “deluxe” King room was rather stark and somewhat dated. The woman at the front desk the first night was lovely, and helped us book a boat ride for the following morning; unfortunately the boat died about 10 minutes into the tour and we had to be rescued and returned to dock. No fault of the Inn or boat operator; these things happen. Back to the room: There was no hair dryer and we had to ask a few times for one, as the staff didn’t seem to believe there was none in the room. The Wolfe Tavern had good food, not five star but very good tavern food. All in all, we paid too much for a 3 night stay and will choose differently next time we come down to the lake.

The Wolfe's Tavern has definitely upped the local game in town for the quality of food that Chef Kevin and Cook Bill make and take pride in every serving! Kevin's weekly specials NEVER disappoint! Always theme or holiday related to the season! Wether you are looking for pub food or a fantastic full meal! Fresh! Homemade! Kevin, Julie, Keisha, Whitney, Paul and team are always ready to make you smile and make sure every patron is accommodated w any dietary questions and ALWAYS have wonderful suggestions! If you gave up on the Wolfe's Tavern in the past you MUST give the team another try! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Convenient for our purpose but paid too much for subpar accomodations.

Location

− A paper towel that was dirty and probably used to wipe fridge was left inside the fridge. Front desk staff were seen with head down on desk. Another front desk staffer was complaining in front of guests about having to empty the trash cans by the coffee. Stairwell was dirty.

We’ve liked staying in the past however this trip was a horrible experience, please let your guests know of weddings on

− We come up for the fourth every year, this year there was a wedding, they did not tell us at check in that A. The beach was reserved for the wedding which meant we were unable to sit at the beach and watch the fireworks, B. The tavern was closed. Also there were multiple power outages during our stay which kept waking us up because the ac kept going off. There was multiple times I requested the people above us to try to walk lighter as it sounded like there was aerobic class at all hours 10 pm and 6am resulting in us also not being able to sleep well.

Good location and comfortable.

Location is perfect for walking to all the shops and restaurants and the docks.

− No coffee maker in the room but they did have some in the lobby in the morning. No ice machine - you have to go to the desk and the one employee had to run to a kitchen to get you a bucket! Also no vending machine- they have to go to unlock a small cabinet with some items. I felt like I was bothering them but hurt were nice about it.
