Charming Beachfront Inn
10.0This was our home base for a long weekend in Amelia Island and we loved it. The staff was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and afternoon happy hour enjoying our wine on the porch overlooking the ocean. We used taxis to take us to the town of Fernandina Beach and they were very convenient. We walked a few times, as well. We booked an oceanfront room and it was basic, nice and well-appointed. They offer beach chairs, towels, etc but Mother Nature was not cooperating for us that weekend. We were on the fourth floor by the elevator and found our room to be quiet from hallway noise but that probably depends on the other guests on the floor. We would definitely recommend this property.

10.0Ahhh-mazing experience from check-in to check-out. We came to celebrate our 20th anniversary and were blown away. We arrived to a bottle of champagne and a lovely note from the staff. Our room was beautiful and clean with amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was so kind. The beach had chairs setup for guests and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. Even for June! We will be back!

− Some of the rooms tend to be small, not a lot of counter space. The hefty amenity fee per day means you’re not really getting complementary beer, wine, snacks, water bottles, and breakfast. I don’t remember that fee always being a part of the total stay.
